I have a feeling that's how road trips are going to be for our family for the next dozen or so years.

Although, in my experience, there will never be only one who has to use the facilities. The second one, though, will not make that announcement until AFTER you return with the first. And none of them will say anything until you're all headed to your car ready to pull away from the bathroom spot.

Gah! Oh, the drama! It is unending.

A friend wrote something that bothered me. Now I have no idea what to say or do in response.

I hate when someone is annoyed with me and doesn't give me a chance to explain, so I feel like I should write back and extend that same chance, but I don't want to come across as whiny. A big part of me just wants to let it go. I'm annoyed. So be it. I don't want to start anything. At the same time, I feel like she started something and now I'm hurt.

Why do I feel like I'm back in high school? I hate this petty crap.

My kids ask the same question.

Adjective Cat is not amused.

I found the Wikipedia entry for lolcat to be, at times, as funny as the lolcats themselves.

It contains such gems as the quotation I used in the title along with these:

"[adjective] cat has run out of [adjective]"

and

"I has a noun" pictures show a cat in possession of an object while "Invisible noun" show pictures of cats apparently interacting with said invisible object.

One day last week, I went out of my ever-loving mind.

I had a few things I wanted to do and low and behold, I got them all done. All those annoying little, "I really need to," or "I should," things were checked off the list. Dh wasn't home yet, so I decided, on a whim, to give the cats a bath.

If you have cats, you're probably laughing at me and shaking in your boots for me right about now.

I actually got two of them washed with very little bloodshed. There was lots and lots of those cat screams of death and huge puddles from when the fuzzy one jumped out and attempted a get away (in vain), but only trace amounts of blood.

They got washed. I got stuff done. Everyone survived. That's a miracle!
